California Vet Tech Bill
Hello Vet Techs in California….If you didn’t already know their is a bill currently in Sacramento that could affect your career! This bill would require vet techs to pass BOTH the national licensing examination, and a California examination.
“In California, the Senate Committee on Business, Professions and Economic Development voted 7-0 in favor of AB 107. The bill would modify the examination requirements for registration as a veterinary technician by requiring that an applicant for registration pass both a national licensing examination and a California examination.
