Lots of questions….As a vet tech you should use objectivity when people ask you to recommend a pet insurance plan, otherwise, if the client is dis-satisfied with your recommendation it can come back to haunt you.

Some pet insurance companies might give a vet clinic incentives for signing someone up to their plan, but again, this introduces bias, and is not fair to the client or to your professional image.

One way to get around clients asking you what type of pet insurance to buy is to give them a list of plans available to them. This way you are not recommending any one plan, but instead, are giving them information that they need to make a decision.
This not only saves them times, but also makes it more convenient to them and makes you look prepared.
