Three New Vet Tech Specialties
According to the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America (NAVTA) there are three new specialties that us vet techs can specialize in.
Neurology, Zoo Medicine, and Equine Nursing are the three new specialties. The other specialties that existed before were dentistry, anesthesia, internal medicine, emergency and critical care, and behavior.
So that brings the total number of academies up to five in societies up to four for the NAVT

The Academy of Internal Medicine for Veterinary Technicians
The Academy of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Technicians
